Nicola Walpole

Nicola Walpole is an experienced registered dietitian with a four year honours degree in dietetics. She currently works for the NHS covering the specialist cardiology, gastroenterology and diabetes wards, as well as working freelance. Nicola is a member of the Health Professions Council, British Dietetic Association and a member of the Specialist Gastroenterology Group of the BDA. She has also written articles in magazines such as Slim at Home and Men’s Health, as well as organising various teaching sessions for local charities, GP’s, consultants and pharmacists.
Nicola is able to offer an individual assessment of your current diet and nutritional requirements to provide evidence based, professional and practical advice. With a diet plan individually formulated for you as an individual, together with regular support, you are more likely to be able to achieve your goals.
As well as dietary advice for sports nutrition and weight management, Nicola is also able to offer advice for a wide range of conditions such as IBS, Crohns Disease, High Cholesterol, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Infertility, Food Intolerance, etc.
In her spare time Nicola enjoys travelling and spent 3 months in Malaysia in 2004 researching the relationship between Soya intake and breast cancer. She enjoys walking her two dogs and is also a qualified Veterinary Nurse with a distinction in animal nutrition.
