Back and Neck Pain
Do you have pain in your back or neck?
You are not alone. Back and neck pain are thought to be the most common reason people see a Physiotherapist or Osteopath and have accounted for nearly fifty percent of the conditions we have treated over the last five years - from acute neck pain to post-surgical backs.
Back and neck pain can be expertly assessed by either our Physiotherapists or Osteopaths and can be treated using Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, Massage Therapy, Pilates and/or Acupuncture.
If treated by our Physiotherapist or Osteopath, treatment generally involves a combination of manipulation, mobilisation and soft tissue massage, plus a combination of core stability, clinical Pilates and general strengthening exercises to help reduce further reoccurrence.
Do you know what is causing your pain?
We can also advise on posture, work-station assessments, ergonomics, manual handling and any other common causes of back and neck pain.
We understand that not all back pain can be completely eliminated, therefore during the treatment process we will give you the information you need to best look after your back and reduce the pain or reoccurrences.
Where necessary, we can refer you to one of our specialist Orthopaedic Spinal Consultants or chronic pain specialist.
