Video Motion Analysis

video motion analysisVideo Motion Analysis is where a digital video camera and the latest motion analysis software are used to assist with therapy whether it is injury or pain related, or simply for the assessment of healthy individuals.

Many conditions are caused by poor posture, poor gait or poor technique. Video Motion Analysis can help to identify the root cause of the problem and therefore aid individuals in adapting their posture, gait or technique to alleviate the pain, injury or discomfort.

In addition, individuals who have had surgery can display changes in their movement patterns, which can result in pain or discomfort, Video Motion Analysis can be used to identify these changes in movement patterns, enabling the rehabilitation programme to be focussed on correcting these adaptive patterns of movement, therefore greatly aiding the recovery of an individual.
